Aidnow ("we", "us") operates Q Diary (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

1. Why we process personal information

We use personal information only for the purposes below. If a purpose changes, we will tell you in advance and ask for consent where required.

  1. Accounts: identifying you, signing you in, syncing your entries across devices, and closing your account
  2. The diary: showing daily questions, saving your answers and photos, comparing answers across years, entry summaries, the year in review, and book previews and PDF export
  3. Notifications: the daily question reminder and occasional check-ins if you have not opened the app for a while
  4. Paid features: verifying Q Diary Plus subscriptions and course purchases, granting access, and restoring purchases
  5. Printed books: taking orders, confirming bank transfers, printing, shipping, cancellations and refunds, and answering order questions
  6. Improving the Service: usage statistics and crash diagnosis
  7. Advertising: showing banner ads to free users. We show non-personalized ads only; ads are not targeted to your interests.

Voice input uses the speech recognition built into your device and operating system. We do not store or transmit audio; only the transcribed text is saved as your answer.

Your App Lock PIN and biometric data stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.

Usage statistics never include the text of your entries or the questions you answer.

3. How long we keep information

  1. Account information, diary entries, and photos are kept until you delete your account, and are deleted without delay after that.
  2. When you delete an entry, its text is removed immediately. We keep only a deletion marker so your other devices know the entry is gone. Photos attached to a deleted entry are deleted too.
  3. For printed book orders, the copy of your diary text and the print files are deleted 30 days after delivery, or immediately if the order is canceled or refunded.
